Tonner Hills Planned Community project site is located in the northeastern portion of Orange County within the City of Brea. The Orange Freeway (SR57) bisects the community, with approximately 686 acres on the east side of the freeway north of Lambert Road and approximately 108 acres on the west side of the freeway at the southwest corner of Tonner Canyon Rd. and the Orange Freeway.
This development is projected to have a total of 795 dwelling units along with approximately 570 acres of open space. The Tonner Hills Planned Community Program was approved by the Board of Supervisors on November 19, 2002. The County is the Implementing Approval Authority per the Cooperative agreement dated January 10, 2006 which was approved by City of Brea, County of Orange, and Tonner Hills SSP LLC. Tentative Map 16642 fifth revised was approved administratively by the OC Public Works' Director on December 16, 2010.
