Cow Camp Road
Cow Camp Road project includes the establishment of an alignment, design, and construction of a new Major arterial highway between Antonio Parkway and Foothill Transportation Corridor (FTC) with future extension to Ortega Highway. This project will traverse the “Ranch”, Rancho Mission Viejo (RMV) Planned Community. Right-of-way will be provided by RMV and financing will be through the Ranch Community Facilities District (RCFD) and South County Roadway Improvement Program (SCRIP) road fee program and other grant funding sources. The project will be constructed in two segments, Antonio Parkway to FTC (Cow Camp Road - Segment 1) and FTC to Ortega Highway (Cow Camp Road - Segment 2). Segment 1 is estimated to cost $60M. Segment 2 is estimated to cost $70M. Construction of each segment may be phased based on funding availability.
