  • Neighborhood Electric Vehicle Program (NEV) coordination of implementation within planned communities
  • South Orange County Major Investment Study (SOCMIS) County lead w/OCTA
  • Ortega Highway safety improvements coordination w/CalTrans and RTC
  • Interchange improvements coordination with CalTrans for I-5 @ Oso, Crown Valley Parkway, Ortega Highway, Ave. Pico, Via Estrella, etc.
  • Portola Parkway potential project discussions
  • Oso Parkway
  • FTC South coordination with TCA with respect to impacts on planned communities.
  • Growth Management Area (GMA) meetings County lead for planned community issues

Local Flood Drainage

  • Management of review of local drainage and local flood facility plans and review of the local drainage portions of Master Drainage plans for the San Juan Creek (SJC) watershed within the Ranch Planned Community.
  • Management of review of the Planned Community A / E's proposed flood control facilities to ensure consistency with OCFCD's standards and policies.
  • Review LOMR and CLOMR and FIRM mapping for planned communities.
  • Horno Basin (Ladera)
  • The Irvine Company Flood Drainage Projects.

Funding

  • Bridge and Road Fee Programs management including South County Roadway Improvement Program (SCRIP)
  • Development of SCRIP II
  • Assistance to CEO/Public Finance staff for establishment of new Community Facilities Districts (CFD) and implementation and reimbursement issues
  • Coordination with Caltrans, OCTA, OC Public Works and others to secure supplemental funding for Planned Communities highway improvement projects (projects that are not County lead, nor County responsibility to fund/design/build).
